Black Duck Acquires Ohlho.net
Black Duck Software has bought Ohloh, the open source directory and community and will integrated it into Koders.
Black Duck will combine Ohloh.net's open source software directory and Black Duck's metadata catalog about open source projects.
The Ohloh directory aggregates data from over 250,000 sources.Koders.com site will provide developers with a free resource to help with the use,
creation and management of open-source software.
"With this acquisition, Black Duck is directly benefitting the FOSS community, by aiding developers' ability to find and use open source,"
said Paul Cormier, President of Products and Technologies for Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE RHT).
"It's a strategic acquisition that will continue Black Duck's transformation into a leading open source enabler, community member and FOSS champion."

Snoopal time!!
After much development work, Snoopal was eventually deployed at www.snoopal.com as a cloud computing solution for online social publishing of documents. On snoopal people are able to upload, download, share, and socialize around their original writings, be it a graduation thesis, a recipe book, travel report, children novel, market analysis, or else. We are running some tests on snoopal and will announce it as a public beta service soon. Stay tuned!
